Lata vil rigtig gerne elske Anju, men hun synes at han gør det svært for hende nogle gange.
Lata savner sit hjem i Indien, under filmen snakker hun konstant om de smukke steder i Indien, om hendes bedste ven. At de skippede college to see the movies, og de steder de har været.
Hun føler sig også gammel når hun siger de unge piger i det smarte tøj.
Det er som om at under filmen er hun i en illusion, hun er 'hjemme' og når hun kommer ud igen til 'virkeligheden' og Anju siger tidligere at hun er hendes brud.
