separate us from the other employers. I think that we can with innovation, as it can have a positive impact on our reputation as a workplace. Barriers two change and innovation There is again a great many barrier, which can be devastating for a transformation in a company. I will describe briefly which come four including I personally see as the biggest challenges for change and innovation in our company.Culture A very good example of that culture can be a barrier, is from the days when Merlin Entertainments bought LEGOLAND parks of LEGO. It was for some a dissideret culture shock when Merlin came with their English way of doing things. It is, in fact, still to this day difficult to implement some of the initiatives which comes from Merlin, pga. the Danish culture. Although we are neighbors to England, we still look very different to the way to lead and motivate, and there will forever be asked when Merlin comes with a change in the way we operate our amusement park. Communication Communication is for me one of the most important things when we are in a process of change. It is important that you communicate correctly and properly to the actors who are in the game for the process. Furthermore, the major changes are also communicated to the rest of the staff so that they are well informed. Not commited If employees change affect is not commited to the task, it can also be a huge barrier. So it is important to get the right people on the job. Time Time is also crucial if a change should glide easily towards the goal and planning are key words for just that. Overcoming barriers two change and innovation I have chosen to make use to the 4 aforementioned barrier, which I will process and come up with my solution on how they can be overcome.CultureIt is very difficult, for how can we as an international company duck a whole nation's way of thinking? It has of course been the challenge Merlin faced when they took over the LEGOLAND parks. Challenges which still takes place, when opening new parks in Dubai and Japan, where culture is even more distanced from the English. I think that it is important that you never try to change the culture, but on the other hand, adapts its activities the country man "occupies". In my view, it is also what Merlin does, I think that they have learnt a great deal after the acquisition of our park, where there have been major cultural problems. So the conclusion to this is that you have to respect the culture of the company.
