Cykelsko – man kan vælge at cykle i løbesko på almindelige pedaler. Vælger man at skifte, er man selv ansvarlig for at transportere skiftesko.

Cykelbukser – Da der skal tilbagelægges mange kilometer på cykel, anbefales det, at de nedre regioner har et skånsomt underlag.

Tøj tilpasset vejrlig – Den svære balancekunst at klæde sig på uden hverken at fryse eller få det for varmt.

Vandafvisende tøj – I tilfælde af regn, er det klart at foretrække, at holde sig nogenlunde tør.

Taske – Til transport af skiftesko og øvrigt grej. Camelback med vandblære kan anbefales.
