Herefter køres der syd om Brabrands

Herefter køres der syd om Brabrandsøen, som er Aarhus’ rekreative område, og videre mod nordvest til området ved Hammel og Gjern, hvor der gennemkøres flere, kortere, stykker single track i meget smuk natur.
Turen går videre til skiftet til kano ved Truust Camping. Her sejles der medstrøms på Gudenåen til Tange Sø, som er en opdæmmet kraftværkssø. Ude af kanoerne, sætter cyklerne kurs nordover søen op mod Danmarks ældste elværk, Tangeværket, og videre af de små veje til målet for første dags anstrengelse, Gymnastik og Idrætshøjskolen i Viborg – GIV. Her er en fantastisk udsigt over Søndersø og domkirkebyen Viborg.
Vel i mål, indtages et måltid mad og herefter er der mulighed for tilkøb af massage, hvor de ømme muskler kan løsnes op. Der vil være underholdning og ved godt vejr, tændes der bål og skabt lejrbålsstemning.
