Opgaven indeholder en redegørelse af den universelle og den selektive velfærdsmodel med særligt fokus på civilsamfundets rolle. Redegørelsen indeholde også et nærmere kig på, hvilke muligheder en socialt udsat har. Analysen indkluderer en undersøgelse af mulige løsninger til at reducere madspild og dermed også et socialt problem. Herefter kommer der en en præsentation af ideen bag den frivillige organisation Flensburger Tafel.
