Børn har brug for klare rammer, men jeg er uenig i hvad Amy Chua mener om børneopdragelse. Man behøves ikke holde ens børn i hånden til de dør, det er fint at gøre det i den tid hvor børene ikke selv kan gå, men derefter må man slippe, ellers kommer de aldrig til at gå selv. Sætningen ”voksende holder deres børn i hånden for en stund men deres hjerter for evigt.” er min mening omkring børneopdragelse, børn skal ikke holdes fanget i deres eget hjem, de skal ud og udforske verden ud og opleve noget, før de kan blive til noget.
