De lære af hinanden og deres fejl som forældre. Faren bliver klogere på hvad han burde have gjordt for hans søn. Sønnen lære at lade hver med at være for beskyttende overfor hans datter. Så de ender begge med at være gode venner og kigge tilbage på de gamle dage.

Phil opdager at han er ved at blive gammel, da hans søn gør alting bedre end ham selv. Phil vil lære hans søn en masse ting, men hans søn kan det allerede. Det gør Phil ked af det og han bliver en smule deprimeret.

Alex vil gerne bruge ferien på at finde ud af om hun er kommet ind på Harwot. Det synes hendes mor er en dårlig ide, så hun beder Haley om at tage hende med på festival
