Undersøgelsen undersøger om kvinder

Undersøgelsen undersøger om kvinder som er mor, hustru og kunster fra Danmark i perioden 1968 og kvinder i Amerika 1890 og om hvordan det var i de forskelige perioder og om hvordan de blev acceptret i de forskelige kategorier i perioderne. De forfatter som var et symbol på de perioder var Charlotte Perkins Gilman fra Amerika og Tove Ditlevsen som er fra Danmark. De to forfatter havde meget til fælles og kæmpede for at skifte synet på kvinder ud fra deres erfaringer og sygdomsforløb i deres værker
