· Økonomer var bange for, at en global økonomisk nedtur og faldende boligpriser vil presse de små og mellemstore varsomheder, som har lånt alt for mange penge ud.
· Før det gik det godt- altså National Banken og myndighederne var sikre på at finanskrisen ikke vil komme.
